Spring Property Cleanup
Full spring cleanup and mulch refresh for a mature property with large established garden beds.
What the job involved.
Every project is planned and executed step by step. Here’s what this property cleanup project included.
- Remove winter debris and dead material
- Edge all garden beds
- Apply fresh triple mix mulch
- Trim ornamental grasses
- Haul all debris
“You guys exceeded my expectations and completely transformed my backyard, thanks to you and your hard working team!”
What goes into a property cleanup like this
Clear it properly the first time
A cleanup that only takes the top layer means doing it again in a month. Beds are cleared to soil, leaves are removed rather than shuffled, and overgrowth is cut back to where the plant can actually recover.
Check what the mess was hiding
Overgrowth hides things worth finding — blocked drains and catch basins, downspouts discharging against the foundation, edging that's failed, dead or hazardous limbs. Noting these while the property is open is more useful than discovering them in February.
Haul it away
Material is loaded and removed rather than piled at the back of the property. What leaves site is what makes a cleanup feel finished.
What drives the cost and timeline
Every property is different, which is why we quote after seeing the site rather than from a price list. These are the things that move the number most on this kind of work.
- Property size and how overgrown it has become
- Volume of material to haul away — this is often the largest single cost
- Whether tree and shrub removal is involved
- Access for equipment and for loading
- Time of year, and whether leaves are still coming down
- Whether beds are being refreshed with mulch afterwards or just cleared
Questions we get asked
Do you take the debris away?
Yes — clearing and hauling are part of the job. Leaving it bagged at the curb isn't a finished cleanup.
When should a fall cleanup happen?
Mid-October through to the first sustained snow, once most of the leaves are down. Going too early usually means doing it twice.
Can you maintain it through the season?
We do spring and fall cleanups rather than weekly maintenance, so most properties get two visits a year at the points where it matters most.
