Water problems never fix themselves — they compound. A soggy corner becomes a dead lawn; pooling against the house becomes a damp basement. We diagnose where the water is coming from and where it needs to go, then build the route: French drains that collect and carry subsurface water, catch basins at low points, swales that steer surface flow, and regrading that sends runoff away from the foundation instead of toward it.

Every property drains differently, which is why we start with the site visit rather than a catalogue. Sometimes the fix is a full drain system; sometimes it's a day of grading and downspout extensions. You'll get an honest read on which yours needs.

Surface pooling from poor slope often just needs regrading; water that keeps arriving from uphill or below the surface calls for a French drain. The site visit tells us which — we won't sell you a drain you don't need.

To a legal, sensible outlet: daylight at a lower grade, a dry well, or a municipal connection where appropriate. Moving water onto a neighbour's property isn't a solution, and we don't do it.

Trenches are backfilled properly and restored with topsoil and sod or seed. Within a season the route is usually invisible — except that the puddle is gone.

It should be. If a patio, walkway, or sod project is coming, solving drainage first — or as part of the same job — protects the new work and often shares excavation cost.
