Interlock patios in Guelph

Around Old University and Exhibition Park, whether a machine fits down the side of the house decides the whole approach. If everything has to be barrowed, excavation and base material become the bulk of the labour. We measure that at the estimate rather than discovering it on day one.

Why does clay need a deeper base?
Clay holds water and doesn't drain. Water under pavers expands when it freezes and lifts them, then drops them back slightly out of place. A deeper, properly compacted granular base gives that water somewhere to go and spreads the load.
Can you get equipment into my back yard?
That depends on side-yard clearance and any gates or grade changes. We check it at the estimate because it's the single biggest factor in what the job costs.
