Caring for your artificial turf

Rinse it occasionally

A quick rinse with a hose clears dust, pollen, and pet spots. In dry stretches, a rinse every couple of weeks keeps it fresh; pet owners may want to do it more often.

Brush against the grain

In high-traffic areas the blades can flatten over time. A stiff, synthetic-bristle broom (never metal) brushed against the grain lifts them back up and keeps the surface looking full.

Keep debris off

Clear leaves and organic debris before they break down — a leaf blower or a plastic rake works well. This prevents weeds from taking hold in the infill and keeps drainage clear.
